    We're visiting Sydney and got to talking to Raza our Uber driver about our favourite foods. The word biryani came up and he proudly told us about his home city of Hyderabad and how the best biryanis came from there. Raza recommended the best biryani in Sydney was available at Pista House in Auburn.

    We were not disappointed. We ordered the chicken biryani (delightfully aromatic long grains of rice) and chicken 65 (a red coloured exciting Indian spice blend over chicken). Raza did mention that this dish had some historical regal connection but I was salivating at the prospect of a good biryani and missed the pertinent detail about the connection to the king.
    A very generous serve, too much for the two of us to finish and inexpensive. When word gets out about Pista House, this place will get very popular. For now, it's quiet and service is quick and easy.

    Long live the great biryani.
